Refund and cancellation policy

Plain-English summary of how cancellations, refunds and trials work across Sageon AI (app.sageon.co.uk) and Sageon Business (pm.sageon.co.uk).
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Free trials
Where a free trial is offered, you can cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If you don't cancel, your paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial.
Refunds in general
Subscriptions are non-refundable for partial periods used. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access for the rest of that month and we don't bill again.
This reflects the digital-services exception under UK consumer law: by starting the subscription you agree the service begins immediately and you waive the 14-day right to cancel for any usage already delivered.
When we do give refunds
- Duplicate charge — refunded in full, no questions.
- Charge after cancellation — refunded in full.
- Major outage or service failure attributable to Sageon that lasts more than 48 hours in a billing period — pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion.
- Fraudulent charge on your card — please raise with your bank and email us; we'll cooperate fully.
Annual plans
Annual plans (where offered) can be cancelled at any time but are not refundable for unused months. You retain access for the remainder of the prepaid year.
Enterprise / custom contracts
Refund terms for Enterprise contracts are set in the signed order form and override this page where they differ.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer without contacting us first, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We'd much rather sort it directly — email hello@sageon.co.uk and we'll usually resolve it within one business day.
How to request a refund
Email hello@sageon.co.uk from the email address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. We aim to respond within one business day and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method.
